Project conception and management involving restoration of building facades and the street in Old Jaipur. Traditional finishes and methods were used, cleaning and improvements on the surface of the street were made, and issues relating to improvement in provision of urban services such as drainage of rainwater and wastewater, disposal of solid waste and maintenance of the electrical and telecommunication networks were coordinated with the municipal authorities. The project also established links with appropriate businesses, tourism trade, craft communities and others to bring in visitors and improve economic potential of the street. Complete.

The Palace faced the Pichola Lake on the west and open public court between the Zenana Mahal and Mardana Mahal in the city palace complex. Viceregal Lodge, Shimla

Built as a residence for the Viceroy of India in the year 1888, the building is an imposing structure built on top of the summer hill in an estate of about 300 acres. At the time and until Independence it remained a structure that was most well-equipped and fitted with the latest amenities. The building has many firsts to its credit, First to be electrified, fitted with a lift, flush toilets, first use of RCC as we know it and so on. Deepak Gahlowt worked on the project for about three years on behalf of Intach to coordinate documentation of the building, and then supervised the work of restoration of roofs done by CPWD.
